I left a comment on booktrust, but I’ll leave one here as well to say I’m so happy (envious!) that you were able to attend the event and speak with so many special guests. What a wonderfully exciting time that must have been, even if the book you may have been hoping for didn’t ‘come out of the envelope’. Thanks for showing us this site, but more importantly, I’m glad you shared your story.

Guess what, Stu? I happened to see Red April on Borders (a bookstore near us) on a huge sale for $5.99. I think I’ll have to go back and buy it now that you’ve told us about it!

It’s a great post, Stu. Sounds as though you had a really good time, and for those of us who live on the other side of the world and can’t attend such events, it makes it all more real. Thanks for sharing, and well done to get picked up by Book Trust.
